Switching to Lonex

1. Choose a web hosting plan
First off, you need to review the page containing detailed information about our web hosting plans and their features. Once you select a plan and place the order, you will receive your log-in credentials along with other useful details by email.
2. Update your domain name DNS records
After order completion, you will need to replace the current DNS settings of your domain name with ours. This can be done via your registrar’s website – either by accessing your personal account with them (if you have one) or by contacting their support team. You can find our DNS settings listed in your Welcome e-mail or in the Control Panel (‘Domain Manager’ section). Once you have saved your new DNS entry, it will take approximately 24 hours for the change to come into effect. Afterwards, your domain name will be 'pointing' to Lonex's servers, and you will be able to access your site via a web browser.
You can start working on your website and upload contents to it immediately after your order has been approved by the Lonex Sales Department. This will be ensured by a temporary URL, set up to replace your original domain name while the DNS update is taking place. Thus, you are guaranteed that by switching the hosts your website will not suffer any downtime and that all scripts and databases will have been completely tested by the time the DNS update is completed.
