New Quick Script Installation Toolbar Incorporated In Customers' CP
Publish Date: Monday, November 24, 2008Lonex is glad to inform all its present and prospective customers that a new software tool has been introduced in the customers' web hosting control panel, ensuring quick and easy installation of the nearly 40 scripts available in the Elefante Installer PHP scripts package. The Elefante Installer scripts package is freely included in each web hosting plan of ours, and now it's easier than ever to make use of it through the newly launched Elefante Toolbar.
The Elefante Toolbar is accessible through the File Manager, Domain Manager and Subdomain Manager sections of the customers' control panel. It provides fast and simple installation of any chosen script from the Elefante package and is exceptionally easy to use even from the least technically experienced users.
The installation functionality of the Toolbar is fully automated, no additional configuration is needed from the user. All you would need to do, if decided to install a PHP script in your hosting account via the Toolbar, is:
- Choose a host location for your script installation
- Pick your desired Elefante software (various scripts are available - galleries, photo albums, blogging and forum softwares, CMSes, etc.)
- Click the 'Install' button.
The Elefante Toolbar will generate all the necessary information itself and will install your desired script in the main directory of the chosen host location.
Customers who want to perform a more advanced setup and specify themselves all parameters of the installation are also provided with a handy option - a quick shortcut link (Advanced Installation) to the main Elefante Installer section in their web hosting control panel. In the user-friendly interface of this section they can input all the data needed for their script installation.
One important issue needing your attention is that - when you pick a host location for your script installation you might receive a notification that the current web directory is not free, meaning that there's already some script installed in the destination. In such case you will be offered two opportunities to choose from - 'Overwrite' and 'Advanced' installation. If you choose 'Overwrite' you will be able to continue with the installation in the chosen host location, however all files with duplicate names existing in the folder will be overwritten. If you select 'Advanced' installation, you will be given the option to select another host location for your script installation, while all remaining settings will be automatically filled in.
