.ME.UK Domains Offered Now, .EU and .DE Soon to Come!

New TLD introduced! We are pleased to inform you that the .ME.UK TLD is now available for registration through the Web Hosting Control Panel. The management policy of the .ME.UK domains is similar to the conditions set for the rest of the .UK Top-Level Domains (TLD) that we offer for registration, thus including:
- renewals possible only for periods of 2 years
- renewals requests accepted only within 5 months of the expiration date
- the WHOIS information is not possible for modifications directly from the Control Panel. Whenever a change needs to be made in the WHOIS field of information, the Registry, NOMINET, needs to be contacted for approval personally by the domain name owner and certain fees are to be paid to NOMINET (that is because such changes are referred to as 'formal transfers').

New TLDs to be made available soon - .EU and .DE!
The .EU and .DE top-level domains are to be released very soon, as well. They have the following characteristic features:
.EU - The .EU TLD is the generally recognizable TLD for the European Union and, thus, can be registered by any person or organization established within the European Community. Registration of .EU domain names is available for 1 year, afterwards renewals are possible for the same period. As is typical for the most ccTLDs (country code domain names), WHOIS / ID Protection is not supported.
.DE - This is the TLD for Germany - probably the country's best-selling TLD lately. However, the registry of this domain, DENIC, has set a specific condition concerning the registrant's information that needs to be presented at the time of registration. According to that condition, it is necessary, when entering the administrative contact information, a street address or P.O. Box within Germany to be specified, in order to get a registration approval. There is no WHOIS /ID Protection service offered for .DE domain names and the registration duration period is optional to choose from 1 to 10 years.
